<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Sometimes mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as pyrosis, nausea, vomiting diarrhea, as well as itching, urticaria, headache and fever have been reported.  Hypersensivity reactions affecting skin and respiratory organs and unpleasant odor</p>

<p style=\"text-align: left;\"> The thiol group of N-acetylcysteine can reduce the efficacy of certain antibiotics such as ampicillin, tetracycline, macrolides, cephalosporin , aminoglycosides, and amphotericin.  Concomitant use of N-acetylcysteine and amoxicillin will increase the level of the antibiotic in tissues.  It is therefore advisable to use the two medicines 2 hours apart form each other.  N-Acetyl cystein can increase the inhibitory effect of thrombocyte aggregation and vasodilating by nitroglycerine.</p>

<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Because of potential risk of side effects, breast feeding must be stopped during treatment with N-acetylcysteine.</p>
