Examples of affected drugs include flibanserin, <a href=\"https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-11062/pimozide+oral/details\">pimozide</a>, among others</li> <li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">if you take <a href=\"https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-3949/warfarin+oral/details\">warfarin</a>, this drug may affect how well warfarin works in your body. Administration and Dosage{}{}{}
<ul> <li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Take this medication by <a href=\"https://www.webmd.com/oral-health/anatomy-of-the-mouth\">mouth</a> with or without food as directed by your doctor. If you are taking capsules, swallow the capsules whole</li> <li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">take the first dose as directed by your doctor, usually 1 hour before the start of <a href=\"https://www.webmd.com/cancer/questions-answers-chemotherapy\">chemotherapy</a>. For the next 2 days, continue to take a dose once daily 1 hour before the start of treatment if you are getting <a href=\"https://www.webmd.com/cancer/facing-chemotherapy-17/ready/video-starting-chemo\">chemotherapy</a> that day</li> <li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">If you are taking this medication to prevent <a href=\"https://www.webmd.com/children/ss/nausea-vomiting-remedies-treatment\">nausea and vomiting</a> after surgery, take one dose of 40 milligrams as directed by your doctor, usually within 3 hours before the start of surgery</li> <li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The dosage is based on your medical condition (depending on whether you are taking this medication before <a href=\"https://www.webmd.com/cancer/ss/does-this-cause-cancer\">cancer</a> chemotherapy or surgery), age, and response to treatment. This <a href=\"https://www.webmd.com/drugs/index-drugs.aspx\">medication</a> is also used to prevent <a href=\"https://www.webmd.com/children/ss/nausea-vomiting-remedies-treatment\">nausea and vomiting</a> after surgery.</p>
